Outfit Of The Week: Denim on Denim
Last week, I made a post on the NFT instagram expressing my excitement when receiving a denim watch that I ordered from the black owned watch company, SPGBK. As you know, I had to put a cute outfit together to showoff my new timepiece. You guys let me know how I did!
Now let’s fashion in style!
1) Top-piece: An oversized, short sleeve, graphic t-shirt from my favorite department store, Target. I rolled up the sleeves to give the t-shirt a “biker” look and made it more stylish.
2) Bottom-piece: Flare denim jeans, which I purchased from Forever 21 years ago. I love flare-leg jeans because of its vintage look. This particular style tends to create curvature, which looks great on my girls who have hip-dips and/or smaller bums🍑.
3) Foot-wear: Casual denim sandals, with gold, oversized bamboo buckles, by Schultz. I purchased these sandals online from Dillards, in the color Azul/Summer Jean. These sandals are very stylish and comfortable.
…and last, but not least, the accessories!
4) Accessories: Another accessory that I anticipated purchasing was the Nia Bag in the color Logo Denim/Brass from the black owned company, Brandon Blackwood. I purchased this shoulder bag from Saks Fifth Ave. It paired perfectly with the denim and gold SPGBK watch. Both pieces were quality made, with gorgeous stitching and amazing hardware. In addition, I wore simple gold hoop earrings, necklaces, rings and a thin charm bracelet. Accessories add the perfect touch to any outfit. As always, I keep things simple and clean. Sometimes, a little goes a long way.
