The Peach State

The travel nurse assignment in Atlanta, Georgia was always on my list of places to work. I even thought about relocating to that city. The hospital where I worked was a newer campus of a major Children’s Hospital, in which the NICU was located on two floors. This particular assignment consisted of a “block schedule” where I worked on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

In conclusion, the travel nurse assignment in Atlanta was super busy. However, there were resource nurses on the units to assist. Night shift workers changed IV lines every night, if patients were receiving TPN/Lipids. Clear IV medications/drips were to be changed on day shift every 7 days.
