Outfit Of The Week: Wine & Grey Is My Forté
I visited and supported my BFF for a probate ceremony as she became a Sigma Gamma Rho. I wanted to wear something chic and classy, yet comfortable to the ceremony, but could not find anything in my closet at first glance. For inspiration, I visited my IG save tab, where I store most of my fashion ideas and came across several wine and grey color combo outfits. I figured that was a sign to go back to my closet and put those color pieces together…so I went for it. Let me show you what I came up with…
Now let’s fashion in style!
1) Top-piece: Grey short sleeve, denim acid wash Jane + Delancey button-down shirt from TJMAXX. I buttoned up the middle of the shirt, then tucked one side in the jeans to give the look a little bit of swag.
2) Bottom-piece: Grey acid wash jeans from TJMAXX, as well. They are Allie High-Rise Slim Straight jeans by Kensie Jeans.
3) Footwear: Classy burgundy, leather, pointed-toe heels with side buckles, by Gianni Bini. I purchased these shoes a looong time ago from Dillard’s.
…and last, but not least, the accessories!
4) Accessories: I wore a maroon and tan Tory Burch bucket-purse with minimal gold jewelry. Accessories add the perfect touch to any outfit. As always, I keep things simple and clean. Sometimes, a little goes a long way.
