Spring is here! Now is the time to put away those dark, heavy winter clothes and bring out the light, colorful wardrobe for spring time! This spring, I am loving the color sage. I usually play it safe and choose the neutral, nude tones, e.g. beige or tan, but sage has such a calming vibe and is very classy at the same time. Let me show you how I styled my two-piece, sage pants set.
Now let’s fashion in style!
I bought a two-piece, Gianni Bini pants set from the Dillard’s department store. I remember when I was younger, I used to think Dillard’s was a store where the older people shopped! I guess, I am “older people” now, because I really enjoy shopping there, lol. I must admit that Dillard’s has definitely stepped-up their wardrobe game, since the 90’s.
Here’s the breakdown of the entire sage outfit: 1) the top-piece is a pleated, round neck, long sleeve, silhouette-style blouse with elasticized cuffs and cropped waist (just enough to show off a little bit of skin)😁;
2) the bottom-piece also pleated, flowy wide-leg trouser pants, with elasticized high-waistband. The outfit is made out of 94% polyester and 4% spandex;
…and last, but not least, the accessories!
3) I accessorized the outfit with a maroon and tan Tory Burch bucket-purse, minimal gold jewelry, and clear, pointy-toe slingback high-heels. Accessories add the perfect touch to any outfit. As always, I keep things clean and simple. Sometimes, a little goes a long way.
I hope this outfit inspires you to add a little sage to the mix of your wardrobe this upcoming spring. Be bold and beautiful this spring season…I promise, it will look good on you!😉
Are you feeling the sage color? 👒🌿💚
