I moved to Nashville, Tennessee from Florida in 2019, for a great NICU job opportunity at their children’s’ hospital. It was nice experiencing all of the seasons throughout the year. I also saw snow for first the time. It was exciting at first, but I got over it very quickly. I hate the cold, freezing weather. However, there were a few things that I enjoyed during my two year stay in Nashville…
Now let’s tRavel iN style!
1. Broadway Street
You haven’t really experienced Nashville if you do not browse the streets of Broadway. There were plenty of shops, dining, and live music. There were also a vast amount of honky tonk bars to go bar-hopping all day and night, which was located in lower Broadway!

2. Sixty Vines
I love wine, so why not go to a place where there was 60 “taps” of wine to chose from! Sixty Vines was located in the Assembly Food Hall, and the food and wine were amazing. This was a very beautiful venue that I highly recommend visiting, especially for brunch and for taking cute selfies!

3. Ole Smoky Distillery Nashville
I visited the distillery with my girls Kay-Ann and Melly, to try out different varieties of moonshine. They even had moonshine cherries and pickles in a jar, and more! There were fun indoor and outdoor activities, such as live entertainment, corn hole and watching exciting sports on the big screen.

4. Pinewood Social
It was definitely a great place to socialized during breakfast, lunch, or dinner! They had great cocktails and an extensive selection of food choices. They also had a bowling alley inside of the restaurant.

5. Radnor Lake State Park
This park was a nice place for hiking and becoming aquatinted with nature. It’s over 1300 acres in size and is the residence of too many biodiversity species.

6. The Parthenon
This art museum, located in Centennial Park, is the replica of the original Parthenon in Athens, Greece. You could browse the inside of the museum to learn about the legacy of the ancient Greeks or take a stroll on the outside to exercise in the park area and take a few selfies, as well.
